Numeracy
The ability to use mathematical skills in everyday life. It involves the use of numbers to solve problems and having the confidence and skills to apply mathematical approaches in every aspect of life. This we achieve through strategies that suits the different kinds of learners.
Literacy
Literacy skills are all the skills needed for reading and writing. They include awareness of the sounds of language, print and the relationship between letters and sounds. E.g vocabulary, spelling and comprehension.
Science
Science is a way of organizing what we already know and learning more by discoveries and experiments.
ICT
Learning about control systems and robots increases children’s awareness of many of the operating systems we use to manage our everyday lives. You could say that it develops essential life skills they will need in adult life, such as operating a washing machine and other devices.
